What Scrum Alliance Certifications will I receive for my Agile Leadership Journey course?

You will receive CAL – E and CAL – O. Here is some information about each:

About Certified Agile Leadership Essentials
Certified Agile Leadership Essentials (CAL-E) courses bring awareness and understanding to the foundations of agile leadership. Discover the way agile leaders think, focus, and behave. The focus on agile leadership essentials equips you to embark confidently on the journey toward leading with agility and championing agile transformation in your workplace.

About Certified Agile Leadership for Organizations
C-suite leaders and directors are now required to shift the way that they think about their organizational culture and employees and become change agents. In this module, participants will gain knowledge, skills, and techniques that will help them to work toward sustainable agility for their organizations. The goal of this module is to bring awareness to the practices and principles of agility and how they apply to business/organizational agility. Through case studies and various models, participants will gain insight into how agile will and can work for their teams and organization.

How do the certifications work?

All certifications are granted based on full and complete participation in the associated programs. During the program sessions, more instructions are given for how to claim the certification. Some programs require a post-class test (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster).

Where can I find information on SEUs or PDUs?

You can find information here.

How do I earn agile learning credits (SEUs / PDUs) to renew my certification?

Here are a few options…

  • (Fast & Pricey) You get the most credits at once when you attend another agile training program (such as these) or attend an agile conference (see here)
  • (Slow & Free) You can accumulate smaller amounts of free credits over time from self-guided content (try these “SEU collections”) or any agile meetup

Where can I find resources for the CSM exam?

You can find information here.

Will this workshop happen for sure?

To create a meaningful learning experience, workshops must have a minimum number of registrants before they are “Guaranteed to Run”. In the rare event we don’t have enough people to run the course, we will work to combine groups to run the class as planned, or give you a refund if required.

Are there any extra fees I need to worry about?

Our programs feature all-inclusive pricing. Unless otherwise stated, program prices include books, supplies, and certification fees.

Something happened at work and I can’t attend. How do I cancel?

Drop us a line, and we’ll do whatever we can to get you booked in another session.

Will there be breaks during the day? I have a lot of work to do.

In order to maximize focus on learning, Jesse’s immersive workshops offer limited time to do your regular daily work. It is recommended you make arrangements beforehand to set appropriate expectations that you will be unavailable during a given day.

Who can I reach out to if I have specific questions?

You can send an email to Taylor Hageman.
